The winners of the much-anticipated 66th National Film Awards were announced at 3 pm on Friday in New Delhi.
Here are the list of winners of 2019:
Best Film: Hellaro, a Gujarati film directed by Abhishek Shah
Best Director: Aditya Dhar for Uri: The Surgical Strike

After impressing critics with her performance in Judgementall Hai Kya, Kangana Ranaut is all set with her action flick, Dhaakad. The makers released the first look teaser of the film, and it looks nothing but fierce.
Directed by debutant Razneesh 'Razy' Ghai, the film’s teaser features Kangana with a machine gun, and dripping sweat and blood, walking through fire and explosions. The 45-second clip shows the actor in a combat avatar, shooting at point-blank range and giving off the apt ferocious look.

The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne is currently underway in Australia. It is being attended by several Indian filmmakers and actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Tabu, Arjun Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, Gayathrie Shankar, Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Sriram Raghavan, and Rima Das. The 7-day festival wiill conclude on 15 August. It’ll screen over 60 films from all across India and the subcontinent in over 22 languages.

We are all waiting to watch Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the upcoming episode of popular British show Man vs Wild, hosted by renowned adventurer Bear Grylls. The episode will be aired on 12 August at 9 pm. Now, some interesting excerpts have been dropped, wherein we see the Prime Minister welcoming Bear Grylls to India.
The clip starts with Bear Grylls saying, “Today I am in India to shoot for a special episode of Man vs Wild with a very special guest - Prime Minister Narendra Modi. India is the most beautiful and amazing country, but it has some of the most but dangerous wildlife”, Grylls adds.

Legendary music composer Khayyam, who has given music to some of the most memorable Hindi films like Kabhie Kabhie and Umrao Jaan, has been admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of Sujay Hospital. He was admitted to the hospital on 4 August, due to a lung infection.
"He is right now in ICU, serious but stable. Doctors are attending to him. At this point, we don't know when he will get discharged from the hospital but we are all praying for his speedy recovery," Ghazal singer Talat Aziz, a close family friend of Khayyam, told PTI.
