1. Apna Time Aa Gaya: Modi Makes Filmy Appeal to B’Wood to Vote

With the general elections just around the corner, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken to social media to appeal to politicians, Bollywood celebrities, sportspersons and members of the media to inspire citizens to vote.

He has tagged Bollywood stars such as Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh and Ayushmann Khurrana in tweets, urging them to get encourage their fans to vote with messages that punned on their films.

2. Are Salman & SRK Reuniting in SLB’s Remake of ‘Baiju Bawra’?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali recently brought in his birthday with the announcement that he would be filming a love story with Salman Khan in the lead 19 years after Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

Now rumour has it that he has approached both Salman and Shah Rukh Khan to star in the remake of 1952 Meena Kumari classic Baiju Bawra. While there has been no official word yet, the director has reportedly registered three titles - Baijnath, Baijuand Baiju Tansen - for the film.

3. Keerthy Suresh to Star Opposite Ajay Devgn in Her Bollywood Debut

South actress Keerthy Suresh will be making her Hindi film debut opposite Ajay Devgn in Badhaai Ho director Amit Sharma’s venture. While Ajay essays the role of footballer Syed Abdul Rahim in the film, Keerthy will play Rahim's wife.

"I'm elated and honoured to be a part of such a great story. This film is a forgotten chapter in the Indian history and I am glad that the makers have chosen to tell this story. This is a film that will make each and every Indian proud," Keerthy said in a statement.

4. Web Series on Modi to Stream on Eros Now From April

While Vivek Oberoi will be seen as Narendra Modi in a biopic for the big screen, Eros Now has announced a ten-part web series on the incumbent prime minister. Titled Modi, the series will be helmed by 102 Not Out director Umesh Shukla and produced by Benchmark Pictures.

The story will trace the different phases of Modi’s life from the age of 12 to the time he assumed office as the Prime Minister of India. He will be portrayed by Faisal Khan, Ashish Sharma and Mahesh Thakur. According to the makers, each episode will highlight the various incidents that inspired him to turn to politics.

5. Watch: Vidyut Jammwal’s Love for Elephants in ‘Fakeera Ghar Aaja’

After the buzz created by Junglees full length trailer that released on 5 March, the first video song of the film is out. The video begins with an extremely scenic shot of the hero Raj ( Vidyut Jammwal ) and Shankara (Pooja Sawant) as they row a boat against the lush, green backdrop of the forest. With Jubin Nautiyal’s melodious voice to give you company, the song takes us through Raj’s return to his father’s elephant reserve.

Composed by Sameer Uddin and written by Anvita Dutt, the song is a beautiful experience. We get to see Raj has he helps around and bonds with both his family as well as the elephants. Raj also performs some awe-inspiring stunts.
