Comedian Kunal Kamra, who was supposed to host a stand-up comedy event at MS University of Baroda in Gujarat, received a surprise late 22 July night, after the university suddenly cancelled his show.
The event was scheduled to be held at the campus’ CC Mehta Complex on 11 August, and was cancelled following complaints from former students of the college, The Indian Express reported.
The university cancelled the event after a group of 11 former students claimed Kamra was “anti-national” and “supported Tukde-Tukde gang”.

After giving a riveting performance in the massive hit, Padmaavat, Deepika Padukone is now basking in the glory of having her statue being unveiled at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in London. This comes after Deepika being featured on the prestigious TIME 100 Influential People of 2018 list as well as in Variety’s International Women’s Impact Report 2018.
The actor took to Facebook to make the announcement to the media. Recalling a childhood memory, Deepika Padukone was excited about having her wax statue in Delhi as well as London.

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput have reportedly bought a new house in Worli, Mumbai. The couple is expecting their second child and purchased a duplex in Worli, in the same building as Abhishek Bachchan and Akshay Kumar.
According to a report in DNA, Shahid bought the high-rise’s 42nd and 43rd floor for Rs 56 crore and paid Rs 2.91 crore as stamp duty to the government for its registration. The building’s name is Three Sixty West, where Shahid gets six parking spots. All the homes enjoy a sea-side view and privacy.
The apartment was reportedly registered on 12 July 2018 under the names of Shahid Pankaj Kapoor and Mira Shahid Kapoor. The couple is yet to confirm the news.
Shahid and Mira currently reside at a sea-side home in Juhu.

It even surpassed the opening collections of Student of the Year (Rs 8 Cr on Day 1). The Shashank Khaitan directorial collected Rs 8.71 crores on its first day at the box-office, which is highest for a film starring newcomers.
Dhadak made Rs 13.92 crore on Sunday, bringing it’s weekend collection to a total Rs 33.67 crores.
