Deepika Padukone is reportedly up to massive things. According to a Mumbai Mirror report, Deepika is following up Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmaavat with another biggie - Bollywood’s first female superhero franchise.
Apparently modelled on Hollywood’s Gal Gadot-starrer Wonder Woman franchise is ostensibly a dynamic, sci-fi tale.
Deepika is understandably taking keen interest in the intricacies of the project. As per the source, the special outfit will be custom-made to facilitate hardcore physical combat and movement.
Apart from making waves at the MET Gala and Cannes, the actor is also involved in Vishal Bhardwaj’s take on the chapter Femme Fatale from Hussain Zaidi’s book, Mafia Queens of Mumbai. The project is on hold due to Irrfan Khan’s health, who stars opposite her in the project.
