After a whole lot of speculation about global star Priyanka Chopra’s next Bollywood project, it is now being reported that she will be paired with Salman Khan after 10 years. Produced by Atul Agnihotri, the two superstars will be reportedly uniting for a project named Bharat.

The last time Priyanka and Salman were seen together was in the 2008 film, God Tussi Great Ho. The two first starred in the 2004 film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. They were also seen together in the mega hit, Salaam-E-Ishq.

Bharat is being adapted from the Ode to My Father, a 2014 South Korean drama film directed by Yoon Je-kyoon. The film depicted modern Korean history through the life of an ordinary man, as he experienced events like the Hungnam Evacuation during the Korean War, the Korean government's decision to dispatch nurses and miners to West Germany, as well as the Vietnam War. It became the third highest-grossing film in the history of Korean cinema, and won 21 awards.

Bharat will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, and this will be the second time he would be working with Priyanka Chopra since Gunday. The shoot is expected to start in April 2018, and is slated to release on Eid 2019.
