Bharat is a remake of award-winning South Korean film Ode to My Father, which is one of the country’s highest-grossing films. While the trailer for Bharat opens with Nehru’s famous Tryst with Destiny speech that he delivered on the eve of India’s Independence, the movie spans several decades and traces the history of India through Salman Khan's character. Salman dons various avatars through the film, including that of a stuntman, miner and naval officer, and Katrina and Disha play his love interests.
Salman has been sharing several posters of his different looks from the film. In one, Disha Patani can be spotted in the corner dressed like an entertainer.
Another poster featured Salman dressed as a miner and “Madame Sir” Katrina in a corner.
Bharat has been directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and also stars Tabu, Jackie Shroff and Sunil Grover. The film hits theatres on 5 June.
