Arjun Kapoor is keeping himself busy with quite a few projects. He is getting ready for the release of the Ashutosh Gowariker-directorial Panipat, which also stars Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon. Now, the actor is all set to team up with Rakul Preet Singh for a yet-to-be-titled family dramedy that will be produced by John Abraham, Nikkhil Advani and Bhushan Kumar.
A photo has dropped of the two actors ready to start shooting for the film.
Kaashvie Nair, who has assisted Nikkhil in his sports drama Patiala House and the 2013 action-thriller D-Day, and even co-directed the TV series POW Bandi Yudhh Ke, will be making her feature film debut as a director with this one. According to a report by Mumbai Mirror, Kaashvie and her team are in the final stages of preparation with this movie.
“It is a coming-of-age love story written by Anuja Chauhan, Amitosh Nagpal and Kaashvie. It will be mostly shot in Punjab and Los Angeles. Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh will be sharing screen space for the first time and we will be finalising the title and release date soon,” Nikkhil told the publication.
Arjun also said that he loved the script the moment it was narrated. “I have grown up in a joint family and I know that it is the greatest source of love and support. Rakul Preet is a great co-star and I am excited to work with her,” Arjun said.
