Yes, Big B makes a special appearance in Kajol’s Helicoper Eela. She is in her element as a single mother Eela, whose life revolves around her son, played by National Award-winning actor Riddhi Sen. Things go south when she decides to complete her education and enrols herself into her son’s class. The film seems to be a poignant and refreshing look at the mother-son relationship, exploring the dynamic of helicopter parenting.
Based on Anand Gandhi’s Gujarati play, Beta Kaagdo, the film is produced by Ajay Devgn and Jayantilal Gada. Amitabh Bachchan is set to play a cameo in the Pradeep Sarkar directorial. Sarkar confirms the development according to Mumbai Mirror.
He said that since he is close to Kajol and Ajay Devgn and has worked with Sarkar before (Eklavya: The Royal Guard ), Big B agreed to be a small part of the film. He would be playing himself since they needed him for a specific scene.
Written by Mitesh Shah, Helicopter Eela is slated to hit screens on 7 September.
