Dharma Productions has revealed the official logo of their upcoming film Brahmāstra in a new teaser video. The video features the voices of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan who also star in the film. They discuss the titular Brahmāstra, which is said to be an ancient, all-powerful weapon.
Take a look.
Earlier, Alia, Ranbir and director Ayan Mukerji revealed the logo in a light and sound show at the Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. About 150 drones were launched to form various displays, including the Indian flag, the film’s title and its logo in the sky. A small puja was also held to commemorate the occasion.
Director Ayan Mukerji also made his Instagram debut and shared a comic book-style rendition of a couple embracing each other. He captioned it: “Part 1: Love”.
A fantasy adventure, Brahmastra is the first part of a trilogy. It has been backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and stars Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan. Ayan had earlier said, “It’s a modern-day film set in India as it exists today. But the reason it’s called Brahmastra is because the energies, wisdom, powers in the film come from ancient India. That’s all I would say. There are some costumes, may be not the way you’d expect them to be.” The film releases on 25 December.
