1. After Dangal Transformation, Aamir Experiments With a Nose Pin

After his drastic physical transformation for Dangal, it seems Aamir Khan is now experimenting with piercings. Sushant Singh Rajput shared a selfie with the actor on Instagram, in which Aamir is seen wearing a gold nose pin and earrings too. Looks like the actors bumped into each other at the gym. Sushant’s post hints at the possibility that Aamir’s nose pin has something to do with his acting process, probably for his next film Thugs of Hindostan.

2. Prabhas Gets a Baahubali Wax Statue at Madame Tussauds Bangkok

Prabhas is making south India very very proud with his latest achievement. Of course his performance in SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali films have taken the whole country by storm, but the actor recently became the first south indian star to get a wax statue at Bangkok’s Madame Tussauds museum. Not even legendary actors like Rajinikanth, Mammooty, Kamal Haasan or Mohanlal have been lucky enough to get a wax tribute.

3. Baahubali 2 Crosses Rs 600 Crore Worldwide In Just 4 Days

Baahubali: The Conclusion is fast demolishing every box-office record ever held by any Indian film not just in India but across the globe as well. According to reports, the film has grossed Rs 625 crore worldwide till Monday. Karan Johar, who is presenting the Hindi version of this blockbuster, tweeted that the Monday collections of Baahubali 2 (Hindi) was a record shattering Rs 40.25 crore.

The break-up of the film’s 4-day collections are as follows:

India - Rs 490 crore
Overseas - Rs 135 crore

The overwhelming success of the film has been such that 3 out of the 5 new Tamil films that were to release this week have dropped out.

4. If You’re Meant to Succeed, Nepotism Can’t Stop You: Priyanka Chopra

Amidst intense hullabaloo surrounding her Hollywood debut, when Priyanka Chopra was interviewed by Mid-Day recently, she brought up the nepotism debate once again. Ever since her Fashion co-star Kangana Ranaut placed the blame on Karan Johar for being partial towards star kids, several actors have voiced their opinions on the matter. But where does Priyanka stand on nepotism in Bollywood? She’s was an outsider herself after all.

There is nothing wrong in being born into a family that has a legacy. Outsiders don’t have a foot-in-the-door access. Star kids have the insurmountable pressure of living up to the family name. Every star has their individual journey. In mine, I have faced a lot. I have been kicked out of films because someone else was recommended to the producer. I cried and got over it. Eventually, those who are meant to be success stories become that, despite all hindrances.

5. Kamal Haasan Dedicates Vishwaroopam 2 to India and Its People

Superstar Kamal Haasan took to Twitter to share the first look poster of the much awaited Vishwaroopam 2. The sequel, which has also been written and director by the legendary actor, seems to have a patriotic theme. Haasan also posted a message dedicating the film to his motherland and its people – “With love my country and its people”.
