1. Secret Superstar: Aamir at His Sleazy Best in ‘Sexy Baliye’

We know that Aamir Khan is playing a creepy, arrogant music star in the upcoming film Secret Superstar, which also stars Zaira Wasim. And now we have got a glimpse of Shakti Kumaarr in his full regalia. The film’s latest song, Sexy Baliye, has him belting out an “ekdum fresh” number in his super sleazy avatar.

Dressed in a black-and-gold leather jacket, Shakti Kumaarr - a wonderful parody of several popular musicians - dedicates his first YouTube video to the secret superstar, who he insists he has given a break to. And then follows a hilarious performance where Shakti Kumaarr is at his creepiest best.

2. Nervous About Romancing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: Rajkummar Rao

Actor Rajkummar Rao has said he is nervous about romancing the "world's most beautiful woman" Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Rajkummar, gearing up for the release of Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, said this during the trailer launch of the film on Tuesday. He also spoke about his other film Fanney Khan which stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Rao was asked about his experience of working with Aishwarya for Fanney Khan.

3. Anupam Kher Replaces Gajendra Chauhan as FTII Chairman

Veteran actor Anupam Kher was appointed the new chairman of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) on Wednesday, 11 October.

The National School of Drama alumnus will replace Gajendra Chauhan.

Speaking to The Quint about the appointment, Anupam Kher’s wife, actor and BJP MP Kirron Kher said:

I was sitting in the office in Chandigarh with a lot of people and I suddenly got a call from the media and I picked up the phone and they started saying this and I was like ‘Oh! My God’ and I told the office yaar TV lagao. I saw it on that and I haven’t had time to speak to Anupam. I am in Chandigarh now and he lives is in Mumbai.

4. Apple Joins Hands With AR Rahman to Set up 2 Music Labs in India

Apple Music on Wednesday said it will set up two Mac Labs at the AR Rahman-founded KM Music Conservatories (KMMC) based in Chennai and the upcoming campus in Mumbai. The Mac Labs will teach students how to create music using Logic Pro X, Apple's professional music creation app for the Mac. Apple Music said it will also contribute to fund 10 full-time musical scholarships for students from underprivileged backgrounds.

5. Now Angelina and Gwyneth Accuse Weinstein of Sexual Harassment

After a string of accusations by a number of women, now Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie have come forward to accuse bigshot Hollywood executive producer Harvey Weinstein of unwanted advances and sexual harassment.

Gwyneth, who was 22 years at the time, had just signed her film, Emma with Weinstein’s company when she was propositioned by the Hollywood executive to “head to the bedroom for massages”.

“I was a kid, I was signed up, I was petrified,” she said in The New York Times article describing the sexual advances which she said she rejected.

Angelina Jolie, too spoke about having a “bad experience with Harvey Weinstein” in the 1990s when she was working on her film, Playing by Heart. The actress rejected his advances and vowed never to work with him again. “This behaviour towards women in any field, any country is unacceptable,” she told The New York Times.
