Imagine receiving a handwritten note from Big B himself! Won’t that be exciting! Well, Ayushmann Khurrana and a few other actors recently got lucky.

Amitabh Bachchan blogs and tweets actively. But when it comes to sending compliments to young actors, Mr Bachchan still prefers the old school way of sending handwritten notes.

Big B’s touching note reads:

Ayushmann - Even if I had not met you at the HT Style Awards, this note would still have been on its way, to tell you how greatly I enjoyed your performance in Dum Laga Ke Haisha. The tone of the language, the gestures of the region were immaculate! I know the region, I was born and brought up in its vicinity. I could not find any error! Congratulations! And may you continue with the good work. Love.

Parineeti Chopra also received not just a letter but also a bouquet of flowers from Bachchan senior for her performance in the film Ishaqzaade (2012).

Big B loved Deepika Padukone’s performance in Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela (2013). Deepika wasn’t as forthcoming as Ayushmann about the note that she received from Big B, but the actress said:

He has sent me a personalised note about my work. I won’t get into details because that’s very personal. But what he has mentioned in it I will cherish forever. In today’s time, who sends a handwritten note and a huge bouquet of flowers?
