Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is turning out to be quite the mammoth at the box-office. The SS Rajamouli film was simply unstoppable on its opening weekend, beating Bollywood’s biggest money churners so far – Sultan and Dangal. While Sultan and Dangal earned Rs 105.53 and Rs 107.01 Crore respectively in their first three days at the box-office, the Baahubali sequel cashed Rs 128 Crore at the end of day 3.
Iconic Bollywood actor Vinod Khanna’s demise filled social media with nostalgia and grief. His older son Rahul Khanna took to Twitter to share a fond childhood memory with his brother Akshaye Khanna and their actor father. The throwback picture shows the Khanna boys having a beach day with their dad, stuff that memories and childhood are made of. The actor-model also tweeted a nostalgic message along with the picture saying, “feels like yesterday”.
Kajol’s recent tweet is proof that ‘gau raksha’ paranoia is at an all time high. The actor tweeted in defence of a recent video of her enjoying a meal cooked by her chef friend Ryan Stephen. In the video, as he explains the beef preparation, Kajol’s only to excited to dig in. But in her tweet, she clarifies that it was ‘legally available buffalo meat’. But why the need for this premature clarification? Well, the actor feels that the sensitive matter might hurt religious sentiments, which isn’t her intention. Kajol’s Instagram post about her scrumptious lunch had trolls going nuts, suggesting that she should be ashamed of being a Hindu and consuming beef.
Baahubali: The Conclusion is riding high on its box-office success. But the stars of the film did not always have it easy.
Rana Daggubati, who plays the role of Bhallala Deva, shared his story in an old video that is going viral. In the video, Rana admits that he cannot see from one eye. The actor is seen giving a pep talk to a woman who also has a problem with her eyesight.
