One of the most acclaimed films of 2016, the Amitabh Bachchan-Taapsee Pannu starrer Pink has been selected for a special screening at the United Nations headquarters in New York by the Assistant Secretary General. Bachchan took to social media to share the news.

The groundbreaking film, which helped start a lot of feminist debates in the country, has been directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury and produced by Shoojit Sircar. It’s a rare honour for an Indian film to be screened at the UN.

Shoojit Sircar too took to Twitter to share his joy about the news.
