Amitabh Bachchan has reportedly fallen ill during a shoot in Jodhpur for Vijay Krishna Acharya's upcoming film – Thugs of Hindostan.
While there were conflicting accounts about the veteran actor’s exact condition, with some reports suggesting that he will be flown back to Mumbai, it has now been confirmed that a team of doctors have been rushed to Jodhpur to check on Bachchan. According to latest reports, the actor is said to be stable post a medical check-up, and has been advised a day’s rest before resuming the shoot.

South star Dulquer Salmaan and Sonam Kapoor are set to share screen space for the first time in the adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s 2008 novel The Zoya Factor. The Abhishek Sharma directorial is slated to release in April, next year. Dulquer will essay the role of Nikhil Khoda, the captain of the Indian Cricket Team while Sonam will fill the shoes of the titular character, Zoya Singh Solanki, an advertising agent.

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan has started taking baby steps towards making her career as a film actor. Recently, at an award function, Gauri Khan revealed to a media outlet that her daughter, Suhana, has already started shooting for the cover-page of a magazine, though Gauri did not reveal the name of the glossy, it’s expected to be out soon.

Deepika Padukone considers her film Piku, directed by Shoojit Sircar, easily as one of the best films in her career so far. Recently at an awards night, Deepika declared that Piku would be one of her all time favourite and special films. The actor obviously enjoyed a great working relationship with Piku’s director Shoojit Sircar - which is why Deepika made a hilarious tweet mocking jealousy with an “Accha!?!?”, when Shoojit Sircar said “Varun Dhawan has become my dil ka tukda!” at the launch of the October trailer on Monday.
