How Akshay “Embarrassed” Amitabh Bachchan at IFFI 2017

Amitabh Bachchan blogged that being honoured at IFFI 2017 was unforgettable.

Amitabh Bachchan was conferred with the 'Indian Film Personality of the Year Award' at the closing ceremony of International Film Festival of India (IFFI) on Tuesday evening. Bachchan who was honoured for his contribution to Indian cinema later blogged that the award was one he would not forget.

“Thank you Smriti ji Hon Minister for Information & Broadcasting and the trouble you took in organising a most memorable evening for me .. one that I shall never forget,” wrote the veteran superstar in his personal blog.

Bachchan also tweeted about being humbled by the honour.

But the veteran actor also tweeted about being “embarrassed” by Akshay Kumar at the closing ceremony of IFFI 2017.

When one of his fans posted a picture of Akshay showing his respect to Bachchan by touching his feet with the message “Charan Sparsh”, Bachchan was quick to reply:
