Congress looks likely to win in Rajasthan, with most exit polls predicting a clear majority for the grand old party over the BJP.

199 out of the 200 Assembly seats in Rajasthan went to polls on Friday, 7 December.

  • The Times Now-CNX poll predicts the Congress+ to win 105 seats, followed by BJP at 85
  • The India Today-Axis My India poll predicts the Congress+ to get 119-141 seats, while the BJP would get 55-72 seats.
  • While the Republic TV-Jan ki Baat poll predicts a neck-and-neck fight, the Republic TV-CVoter poll predicts a thumping majority for the Congress+
  • The majority mark for the 200-member Rajasthan Assembly is 101

The Republic-Jan ki Baat exit poll survey predicts the following results for the Rajasthan polls:

  • Congress+ - 81-101
  • BJP - 83-103
  • Others - 15

Ban on Exit Polls Till 5:30 pm: EC

With polling underway in Rajasthan and Telangana on Friday, 7 December, the Election Commission spokesperson said that there will be a ban on exit polls till 5:30 pm.
