Gurdas Maan, the original superstar of Punjabi music, is back with a political track this time, as gripping as any of his other music.

In it, he talks to a young Bhagat Singh, shows him the current situation of Punjab and asks him not to change his own path because of how the world currently is.

The video shows youth addicted to alcohol and chitta. Maan also talks about how food and milk in the state is as bad as alcohol or poison, given the way it’s being produced with chemicals and fertilisers.

He wants the people to remember the sacrifices made by Bhagat Singh for the country’s freedom and asks them to repay his sacrifices.

This song comes right at the time of elections as a reminder to people to make their decisions wisely.

Reactions

A lot of people, especially the stars from Punjab have praised the efforts of Maan and believe in his vision of restoring Punjab to its former glory.
