Exit polls for Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram are out. According to most exit polls, Congress seems to be getting a clear majority in Rajasthan. In Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, there appears to be a close fight between the Congress and the BJP. In Telangana, all the exit polls give KCR-led TRS a clear majority.

The Election Commission had banned all exit polls for the five poll-bound states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Mizoram and Telangana from 12 November till 7 December.
Also, as per Section 126(1)(b) of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, displaying any election matter "including results of any opinion poll or any other poll survey" on any electronic media would be prohibited during the period of "48 hours ending with the hour fixed for conclusion of poll in each of the phases," the Commission said in a release.
