At least six exit polls, including those by CVoter, Times Now-Ipsos, India Today-Axis My India, Republic TV-Jan Ki Baat, Neta-NewsX and TV9 Bharatvarsh-Cicero, have predicted a comfortable majority for the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the 2020 Delhi Assembly elections.
CVoter (as of 5 pm) projected a seat share in the range of 49 to 63 seats for AAP, while it gave just 5 to 19 seats to the BJP. Its final data (as of 7 pm) revised AAP’s seat share to 51-65, and BJP’s to 3-17.
India Today’s exit poll predicted a repeated of AAP’s 2015 performance, giving it up to 68 seats.
Times Now-Ipsos predicted 47 seats for AAP in the 70-seat Assembly, while BJP+ was given 23 seats.

After the exit polls showed a comfortable win for AAP, Delhi Congress President Subhash Chopra told ANI, “All exit polls are going to fail. BJP will not get even 20 seats and Kejriwal is not going to form government in Delhi. I'm hoping Congress is going to do much better than what exit polls are showing. Let us wait till the results are out.”
