Lalu Prasad Yadav's elder son Tej Pratap Yadav has filed a police complaint, alleging he received an anonymous call, threatening to kill him and his personal assistant, news agency ANI reported on Wednesday, 3 April.
"My personal assistant Srijan Swaraj received a phone call on his number, the unknown caller has threatened to kill me and Srijan. He was claiming to be RJD's student wing leader. This is very sensitive and the case is about the security. Srijan has the recording of that call," Tej Pratap stated in his letter to in-charge of Secretariat police station asking him to register an FIR.
"I am resigning from the post of Chhatra Rashtriya Janata Dal Sanrakshak. Those who think I am ignorant are ignorant themselves. I am well aware of who is worth what," Yadav had tweeted in Hindi.
Apparently, Tej Pratap is miffed over his younger brother Tejashwi Yadav's decision to field his estranged father-in-law Chandrika Rai from Saran, reported NDTV.
Tej Pratap who hasfiled for divorce is of the opinion that the Saran seat, which Lalu had won four times, should be represented by someone from the family, the report said.
