The Centre estimates to use 40-50 crore doses of COVID-19 vaccine covering 20-25 crore people by July next year and it is preparing a format for the states to submit by October-end their list of priority population group to receive the vaccine, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said on Sunday, 4 October, according to PTI.
Meanwhile, India crosses 65 lakh mark with a spike of 75,829 new cases and 940 deaths reported. The total number of active cases stand at 9,37,625, the number of cured/discharged/migrated cases are 55,09,967 and the number of deaths stand at 1,01,782.
