A total of 4,88,31,145 samples tested up to 5 September 2020. Of these, 10,92,654 samples were tested on Saturday, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said.

Odisha reported 3,810 new COVID-19 cases and 8 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of positive cases in the state to 1,24,031 including 93,774 recoveries, 29,658 active cases and 546 deaths.

A 27-yr-old female is found to be the first confirmed case of COVID-19 reinfection in Bengaluru, Fortis hospital said in a statement.
