My message for India is that let us respect all religions. It’s even written all over our Constitution – the constitution declares India a sovereign, socialist, secular state. Then why is it so difficult for us to follow the basics?

I’m tired of reading about lynching, or Dalit grooms being threatened from riding a horse. I want freedom from religious intolerance.

What is happening to my country? My India was so different and welcoming.

Let us not be intolerant to religion or caste. Let us instead rise above it and work together to make a better and stronger India.
