The moment we sat up to write winter off, it surprised us – and how!
Ladies and gents, don’t let go of that cuppa hot chocolate just yet. Instead, pair it with some warm cookies! If you’re the kind with an irrevocable sweet tooth – you know, the one that yells “COOKIE” when the alphabet line comes to C – then this post is just for you.
Let that inner baker run loose and create sweet little treats of pure joy, stat! Because it ain’t no end to the winter, before I dig into a LARGE NUTELLA COOKIE!
1. Chocolate Chip
An oldie but a tried-and-tested goodie. An eternal favourite with the chocolate devotees, this temple of worship can be made with a single, double or even a triple helping of the brown genius!
With a simple baking recipe at its heart, what matters most is measuring the ingredients down to the tee. Mix them all together, pop those little blobs in the oven and then all you are left with is – GOOEY HAPPINESS.

2. Peanut Butter
This is not a tough cookie at all! Easy to bake and even tastier to eat! Just buy some crunchy peanut butter jars, mix in some MORE butter, sugar, flour and you are good to go.
For an added overload, create small holes in the middle of each cookie and pipe in some leftover peanut butter as a garnish! More is good, VERY GOOD.

3. Nutella Filled
These need no introduction at all, just your drooling mouths! The sweet mix of warm hazelnut Nutella nestled in a chewy covering are what dreams are made of.
If you wanna be totes fancy, cool these cookies down completely and dip them in tempered white chocolate and freeze. That’s OMG material; pure love in a bite.

4. Snickerdoodles
Actually, the Snickers chocolate bar isn’t the main ingredient in this delight. So what ARE SnickerDoodles, you ask? Crunchy sugar cookies rolled in cinnamon, with Cream of Tartar as a main ingredient in the baking process.
It prevents the sugar from crystallising – which in turn creates its outer texture. Just enjoy the crackle with your morning cuppa tea or serve it at parties – we can guarantee it’ll be a hit with the kids!

5. Oatmeal and Raisin
A healthy twist to the otherwise sinful cookie genre, oatmeal and raisin cookies are so full of fibre, they should be included in your health diet. We’re serious! Use honey instead of sugar and feed off the sweetness of the raisins to make a perfect evening snack.
Convert it into a conversation starter by dousing the raisins in heavy quantities of rum/whiskey and make it a happy holiday!

6. Red Velvet With Cream Cheese Filling
The cake is a superhit and so is the cookie version.
Think little red angels of sweet awesomeness which ooze from the centre. These are LEGENDARY! Here’s a tip – bake the cream cheese with the cookie itself for best results. While this one is a slightly tedious process, the wait is so worth it.
Make these for any occasion and take the award for “Best Host Of The Year” for sure. Trust in the sweet force.
