In her first TV interview since the shock defeat to Holly Holm last November, former UFC Champion Ronda Rousey revealed that she had in fact even thought of killing herself right after the loss.

A guest on The Ellen Degeneres Show, Rousey described her immediate reaction following the knockout defeat to Holm that had landed her in the hospital.

Honestly, my thought in the medical room, I was sitting in the corner and was like, ‘What am I anymore if I’m not this?’. Literally sitting there thinking about killing myself. In that exact second, I’m like, I’m nothing. What do I do anymore? No one gives a s**t about me anymore without this.

However, a tearful Rousey admitted, the sight of her boyfriend - UFC heavyweight Travis Browne- put all things in perspective.

I looked up and saw my man, Travis, was standing there. I’m looking up at him and was just like, ‘I need to have his babies. I need to stay alive.’

The MMA fighter also confirmed she would be making a comeback to the octagon and defeating Holly again is on top of her agenda.
