Porsche is bringing the 2016 edition of its Porsche 911 range, which now comprises coupe as well as cabriolet model variants. The Carrera models features new generation bi-turbo charger engines, which can produce a whopping 370 hp.
With an acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, the company claims that the new 911 Carrera is two-tenths of a second faster than its predecessor.
Porsche has priced the standard 911 Carrera base model at Rs 1,42,33,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Porsche claims that the maximum torque available over the entire range is 5,000 rpm.
Also, for the first time, the Carrera S models are available with rear-axle steering. According to Porsche, this considerably increases the overall dynamics of the vehicle.
In the front, the 911 Carrera includes new headlights with four-point daytime running lights. It also has a redesigned rear lid with vertical louvres, as well as distinctive four-point brake lights.
You get to choose between four positions for the driving modes; Normal, Sport, Sport Plus and Individual. You also get a 7-inch multi-touch display, which we were expecting from Porsche.
