Here’s what the 2017 edition of Maserati’s Quattroporte variants will look like. Aren’t they gorgeous? Maserati has maintained its design philosophy albeit with a few exterior tweaks that make the power machines look even more attractive.

The Quattroporte gets a new front grille, an active aero element and a black matte trim. It’s good to see that Maserati has focused on updating the interiors of the series as well.

The previously available 7-inch display on the dashboard has been replaced with a bigger 8.4-inch unit.

In terms of features, the Quattroporte gets new driver assistance package (optional), encompassing adaptive cruise control, lane-departure, forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking.

You also get two new trim packages; GranLusso and GranSport within the Quattroporte edition, with varied engine options on offer.

However, the power under the hood remains unchanged. The basic power output is provided via a 3-litre twin-turbo V6 engine, which maxes out 404 horsepower and with 406 Nm of torque.

The Quattroporte comes with eight-speed automatic transmission. The Quattroporte S goes from 0-60 km/hr in 4.9-seconds while the all-wheel-drive Quattroporte S Q4 can do the same in less time.

Maserati hasn’t announced the price of the cars. However, the prices are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
