Fitbit may have some of the best fitness-centric wearable products in the market but they’re ugly. Motorola is pegged to have the most stylish smartwatch but it’s hard to certify it as a quality fitness partner. So, how do we get a smartwatch that works wonders on the fitness side of things as well? The answer may be Fitbit Blaze.

The makers of Surge, Flex and Charge are now entering the style arena with Fitbit Blaze launched at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2016. It’s hard to ignore the similarities between Blaze and Apple Watch with its square-shaped display. This wearable device goes on sale from March, and it will be coming to India at an inflated price of Rs 19,999.

It’s rain, sweat and splash proof, but you cannot swim inside the pool wearing it. You get a touch-friendly display and works with Android, iOS as well as Windows Phone via Bluetooth 4.0. You get calls and message notifications but you’ll have to reply back from your phone.

There’s smart-sleep tracker which works in sync with the Fitbit app on your mobile, you can control music (play, stop, change) and monitor your physical movements like with previous Fitbit devices. How long will it last? Fitbit claims to have powered the Blaze with 5-day battery life which is better than what other so-called smartwatches can offer right now.
