For more than 75 years, Altec Lansing has been shaping the world of sound delivery by producing exceptional speakers with legendary acoustics.
And at CES 2016, Las Vegas this year they unveiled a new DVR DJ-Style Headphones, that can stream the video in real-time to the closest flat screen so the crowd can see itself from a DJ’s-eye view for a true immersive experience.
It’s done via a built-in DVR camera on headset that will be shipping in late Q2 with priced at $199.99.
The product will pair 40 mm large format drivers with an action cam in the same housing.
The result will be a whole new toolset for DJs to build extra excitement at clubs and other venues as well as share the buzz on their websites, blogs and social media.
The camera is capable of 1080P/30fps video recording and the video can be streamed via Wi-Fi and also stored on the product’s 8GB internal memory and/or an external micro SDHC card up to 32GB.
Other features will include:
- A built-in rechargeable lithium ion battery with up to seven hours of battery life
- An integral microphone with wind cancellation and song navigation/telephony buttons
- TTS for voice activation and spoken caller ID by name, enabling the headphones to double as a personal listening device via a paired smartphone
- Foldable construction for easy portability
- Carrying case
