Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus

Apple launched the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus in India with a lot of expectations. It’s an upgraded version of the Apple iPhone 6, and by far the best one to come out of Apple’s stable.

The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus feature the revolutionary 3D touch along with upgrades to the processor and the camera. The rose gold was the new colour on the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus that made other companies follow suit.

Though the phone was exorbitantly priced in India at Rs 72,000 (16GB), Rs 82,000 (64GB) and Rs 92,000 (128GB), it found many takers. Now Apple has slashed the prices of the iPhone 6s in India and you can get your hands on one at as low as Rs 47,000 for the 16GB version.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5

Samsung proved once again in 2015, that they still are strong when it comes to producing Android-based flagship smartphones. The best examples this year were the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+.

With a new S-Pen, a beautiful display and a powerful camera the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 was our flagship smartphone choice, even over the Apple iPhone 6s Plus. The launch price was also practical for a flagship smartphone at Rs 55,495 for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 to hit all the right notes.

HTC One A9

Sure the HTC One A9 looks like the Apple iPhone 6s, but it’s a completely different smartphone once you start using it.

HTC has everything going for the HTC One A9. It looks good, it’s built well, has performance on its side and comes at a killer price of Rs 29,990. It’s sure to leave us wondering why are we paying a premium for flagship devices?

Google Nexus 6P

In terms of sheer value, the Google Nexus 6P has it all, premium looks, great screen, top-notch internals and an excellent camera. The 6P is a great showcase for Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and all the features work as claimed, no disappointments.

It’s easy to recommend the 6P, but bear in mind that the LG G4 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 are dropping significantly in price these days – but if you’ve held out for a no-compromise Nexus all these years, this is the one to buy.

Motorola Moto X Play

The Motorola Moto X Play was Motorola’s true comeback into the Indian market after Moto G 3rd Gen.

We really don’t have anything to complain about when it comes to the Moto X Play. It’s a near-perfect, safe smartphone to buy, and you don’t need an invite.

It has a perfect display, a good, fast camera, a trustworthy processor, and to top it all off, it DOES NOT HEAT UP.

The Moto X Play is the best phone to buy right now under Rs 20,000 in India. Period.

Yes there is the Moto X Style as well that Motorola says is its flagship in India, but for us the Moto X Play does the job.
