Motorola launched the much-awaited Moto X Play in India and they priced it just right. Available exclusively on Flipkart, the Moto X Play costs Rs 18,499 for the 16GB version and Rs 19,999 for the 32GB version.
The phone competes with the likes of the One Plus 2.
The Moto X Play is loaded with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.7 Ghz and is backed by 2GB RAM.
The phone comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD Display, measures 148x75x8.9-10.9 mm and weighs 169 grams. The display has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The Moto X Play is a 4G compatible smartphone and has dual-SIM compatibility. There is also a micro-SD card slot to expand storage.
One of the USPs of the Moto X Play is its camera. The phone comes loaded with a 21-megapixel camera with colour correcting temperature (CCT) and dual LED Flash.
There is also a 5-megapixel front camera for clicking selfies.
The phone supports Turbo charging for its battery and comes out of the box loaded with the Android 5.1 Lollipop Operating System.
The phone features 100% handsfree voice activation along with water-resistant coating.
The Moto X Play comes with a 3630mAh battery which Motorola claims lasts for 30 hours.
