2:35 pm: As soon as the drizzle stopped, the umpires decided to call off the entire day. Rains have cancelled three of the four days of the Test match.

Play is scheduled to begin at 9:15 tomorrow. According to the forecasts, it should be a dry day.

Keep your fingers crossed and hope for some action tomorrow.

2:25 pm: The drizzle just came back to tease the players and the spectators a bit more. It has stopped now and the covers are being taken off.

Hopefully, the outfield didn’t get too affected by the short drizzle.

2:00 pm: Just when the outfields were dry enough for play to begin, the rain decided to come back again. Play is further delayed.

1:00 pm: Finally, the umpires are satisfied with the outfield. After a long chat amongst themselves and the ground staff, they have decided to start play at 2 pm.

11:54 AM , 17 Nov

11:30 am: The umpires are still unhappy with the ground after their third inspection of the day. The run-up area is fine but the extra cover region is still wet.
