Kolkata Flyover Collapse: Condolences, Compensation and Complaints

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has announced a compensation for the affected but the BJP is now demanding a probe.

The flyover that collapsed in north Kolkata on Thursday morning has claimed at least 14 lives and injured over 75 people.

Politicians across party expressed their condolences. Some even hit out at the ruling Trinamool Congress government and demanded a probe.

We feel that CBI inquiry should be initiated into the incident, to book the culprits. All the culprits, however big, should be arrested. The state should request for a CBI inquiry. This incident is a clear case of rampant corruption regarding construction of the flyover.
