Bihar Poll Dates Announced, Political Parties Say They Are Ready for Battle
The Election Commission has announced that the Bihar polls will be held over five phases from October 12 to November 5, 2015.
Counting of votes will take place on November 8, 2015. Dr Nasir Zaidi, the Chief Election Commissioner has said that paramilitary forces will be present at each booth to ensure a peaceful election.
Both the BJP and the JD(U)-RJD-Congress alliance have welcomed the announcement.

In Bihar, every political party wants paramilitary forces at every booth. This is what leads to many phase elections.
