Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Indian diaspora in Brussels and paid tribute to the victims of the terror attacks in which over 30 people, including an Indian, lost their lives.
De-Link Terrorism From Religion
Prime Minster said that terrorism was not a problem for a particular region but a threat to humanity. Noting that India has urged UN to pass resolution defining who is terrorist, which countries support terrorism, Modi said India will never bow to terrorism. He also said that India has been suffering from terrorism since 40 years.
Modi also called for de-linking of terrorism from religion.

India, A Beacon of Hope
Terming India as the “lone light of hope” amidst the global recession, Modi said the country was the fastest growing economy in the world.
Modi Lists Government’s Achievements
Listing his government’s achievements, Modi said that today most people of India are connected to banking. He said Jan Dhan Yojana has led to 210 million new accounts. Modi also asserted that India’s forex reserve surged to record high in 2015. He also siad maximum investment has been railway infrastructure.
PM also asserted that his party doesn’t play votebank politics.
India Resolved Land Boundary Issue With Bangladesh: Modi
Noting that we can’t change our neighbours, Modi said that India successfully resolved boundary issue with Bangladesh.
Modi arrived in Brussels on Wednesday to attend the EU-India summit. He will visit the USA and Saudi Arabia thereafter.

The European Investment Bank signed a loan agreement for the construction of metro in Lucknow at the 13th India-EU summit in Brussels, Belgium.
