The goat who was prosecuted for grazing in a judge’s garden in Korea, Chhattisgarh was released on Tuesday evening. The owner, Abdul Hassan however was arrested under CrPC 107 & 151.
The goat named Babli was arrested on Monday and was booked under charges which could have resulted in a jail term of two to seven years and a fine.
According to the police, the goat was a repeat offender.

The gardener of the district magistrate Hemant Ratre had reportedly warned Hassan repeatedly about the goat. The criminal charges against the goat include grazing and eating plants and vegetables.
