Education becomes fun with Da Vinci Learning and The Quint. Da Vinci Learning, a fun educational television channel that offers award-winning knowledge programming and documentaries with a special focus on curious young minds, announced its formal launch in India today.

The premier HD educational channel is entering the market with a joint venture (50: 50) between Da Vinci Media GmbH and Quintillion Media Pvt Ltd (The Quint).

The Quint is a digital venture founded by Ritu Kapur and Raghav Bahl, stalwarts of the Indian media and entertainment industry.

Founded in 2007, Da Vinci Media GmbH, with its headquarters in Berlin is an independent media group. The company offers quality fun educational TV programming from around the world through its TV channel Da Vinci Learning, as well as various multimedia educational platforms. Starting in Eastern Europe, CIS countries, Russia and Turkey, the channel is now also present in over hundred territories across Europe, Asia and Africa.

The joint venture will give Indian viewers a complete horizontal digital multimedia educational platform spanning multiple screens and devices. Da Vinci Learning has dedicated itself to transforming learning into a thrilling experience for the entire family, through on-air programming and engaging educational tools.

With this, Da Vinci Learning will extend its base that currently spans across 100+ territories spanning three continents.
