Prime Minister Modi speaks of the sentiment that binds Indians in UK with those back home.
“No matter what the colour of our passports, it’s the colour of our blood that binds us together. For me, you are all my own people. The country is waiting for you my friends,” he says.
Ending his speech awith “bharat mata ki jai” chants, Modi says, “the country is moving forward and you should join us in this journey of development”.
Amid much cheer and chanting Prime Minister Modi announces a direct flight between London and Ahmedabad from December 15.
“I am humbled by the love and affection you have shown towards me right here,” says Modi.
“We have started a portal called MADAD to help you with porblems related to visas. We have also created an e-migration portal. It will provide basic information to help people travelling from one place to another,” announces Modi at Wembley stadium.
‘There’s More to India Than What is Shown on TV’
Modi quotes Transparency International report, says for the first time India is taking over China in terms of growth. “Our government has managed to achieve this,” says Modi at Wembley stadium.
“The definition of India is not limited to what is shown on TV and what is written in the newspapers,” says Modi.
“Want to focus on two types of FDI – Foreign Direct Investment and First Develop India,” says Modi at Wembley Stadium addressing Indians in UK.
