No Evidence of Pak Government Agency Hand in Pathankot Attack: NIA

Sharad Kumar said that NIA is waiting for the Pakistani government to allow probe to be conducted in Pakistan.

Director General of National Investigation Agency, Sharad Kumar, said that so far no evidence indicates that the terror attack in Pathankot’s strategic airbase was aided by Pakistan government or any Pakistani government agency, News 18 reported.

Kumar also said that the investigation agency has wrapped up investigations. India is waiting for the “green signal” from the Pakistani government to conduct further investigations in Pakistan.

As far as chargesheet in this case goes, we will file a chargesheet even if Pakistan does not allow our team to visit. We have sufficient and stringent evidence against Maulana Masood Azhar and his brother Rauf Azhar and we will include those in our charge sheet.
Sharad Kumar told News 18

When asked whether SP Salwinder Singh was involved in the terror attack, Kumar said that although his involvement in a narcotics racket has been ruled out, NIA hasn’t given Singh a clean chit yet.
