Clashes were seen among students over the Indian cricket team’s loss against West Indies in the T20 World Cup last week.

The campus saw unrest again on Tuesday, with outstation students expressing a sense of insecurity.

The newly-formed Mehbooba Mufti government has assured full security to students from other states. Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh also called up Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and discussed the situation with her.
