A Delhi Court allowed TERI chief R K Pachauri to travel to the USA and Bolivia to attend a conference on environmental issues.
Pachauri is facing sexual harassment charges from a woman employee. The court allowed him to travel from September 25 to October 2 to USA, where he is scheduled to meet various dignitaries and from October 10 to October 15 to Bolivia.
The magistrate also asked him to intimate about his arrival back to India to the Investigating Officer (IO) of the case and the court.
There is nothing on record which shows that the accused has not cooperated in the investigation...The accused was granted permission to travel abroad by this Court on earlier occasions also.

He was asked to furnish one local surety of Rs four lakh along with an undertaking that he will make himself available to the investigating officer when needed.
