Mikhail Bora, the son of Indrani Mukerjea, has entered as a contestant on the second season of Bigg Boss Bangla.
Indrani Mukerjea hit the headlines in 2015 when she was booked for the murder of her 25-year-old daughter, Sheena Bora. This conclusion had followed Mikhail Bora’s statement where he claimed Indrani Mukerjea had posed as his sister for a long time. He also added that Mukerjea had planned to kill both him and his now deceased sister.
In an interview with The Quint, Mikhail also spoke of a possibility of Sheena having been sexually abused by Indrani’s husband, Peter Mukerjea.

Once the media frenzy around the case was over, Mikhail ended up struggling with a financial crisis. His monthly allowance of Rs.15,000 from his mother was terminated a year ago. Consequently, when he was offered a place in the Bigg Boss house, despite his alleged apprehensions, Mikhail accepted it.
He was quite averse to the offer at first. But I made him understand that it is a good opportunity and he should go for it. Money is very important for each one of us, and financially Mikhail is not in a sound place. So, the money is much needed, I’ve been in a relationship with Mikhail for the past two years and I am very happy that he has gone to Bigg Boss Bangla. I know how he suffered during the Sheena Bora case. He would cry all night.Moushumi Das, Mikhail’s girlfriend
The second season of Bigg Boss Bangla began this weekend. Mikhail seems to be working his way around house-hold chores. Reportedly, he would be paid Rs.50,000 per week.
