So the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has decided that we can only handle 50% of Daniel Craig and Monica Bellucci’s kiss in the new James Bonde film Spectre. According to a report on rediff.com, the film was given a UA certificate after 2 audio and 2 video cuts. Both the visual cuts are passionate kisses. The length of the kisses between the lead actors have apparently been reduced by half for reasons best known to the nannies at CBFC.

Twitterati immediately reacted by reimagining a Sanskari James Bond, the way our film certification board wants the secret agent and his films to be. Here are some hilarious takes on the CBFC’s latest attempt to ‘purify’ films for the Indian audience, which made #SanskariJamesBond trend.
