Who was the most upset about Ankit Gera’s eviction? Well, his ex-girlfriend Roopal Tyagi, of course. But if I remember correctly, didn’t she nominate him for eviction? Then why the emotional outburst when he bid the Bigg Boss house goodbye? Waah bhai waah! Roopal’s ‘guilt’ was quickly pacified by her fellow housemates. Weirdly enough, Digangana, Suyyash, Kishwer and Prince tell her that she can now be friends with Ankit outside the house. Hain? Twisted logic if you ask me. Roopal says she’s unsure if they will even talk outside. Then Digangana and Kishwer join the tear fest. Rochelle and Keith also do their part in making the damsel in distress feel slightly better. My guess is, Roopal’s tears will dry up very quickly. She has to get her act together inside the house anyway.
On the other hand, Prince, Vikas and Yuvika feel bad for Arvind who seems to be missing his ex-partner Ankit very much. They also feel that Arvind has a lot of hopes pinned to this show.
Keith and Rochelle finally get talking about something important. Taking off from a comparison with Suyyash and Kishwer, Keith and Rochelle discuss how they don’t want anyone interfering in their issues. The love birds decide to always talk about their problems. Rochelle is also happy about the fact that she and Mandana are getting along a bit better than before. Haha, did anyone hear Keith heaving a sigh of relief? But Rochelle is worried that her partnership with Rimi might get her evicted.
Roopal and Digangana don’t seem to wanna call it a night. The ‘high school girls’ as Sonam Kapoor called them, stay up discussing the next day’s nominations. All in all, they feel Prince can’t be trusted and that Aman is a good guy who has been very misjudged so far. Only time will tell ladies.
Mandana, Keith and Rochelle discuss how the Snapdeal call was only about the trio and why everyone wants to make a big deal out of Mandana and Keith’s bond? Rochelle tries to portray that she’s not insecure but we know better. But they’re not the only ones upset. Suyyash opens up to Digangana about being projected the wrong way, ever since Salman Khan called him an ‘angry, young man’. Suyyash’s brain seems to be working overtime. He thinks Rimi is lying low for a reason. He also has his doubts about Rochelle by the way.
Then come the nominations and Bigg Boss throws another googly at the housemates with the announcement that nominated pairs have to decide which of them would finally get nominated. While a few contestants willingly sacrifice their safety, a few others stand at loggerheads with one another.
Another twist comes up. Bigg Boss gives the contestants a chance to reclaim their lost bags, much to their excitement. Calling it the ‘Nilami Task’, Bigg Boss tells everyone that the four contestants without bags (Keith, Suyyash, Prince and Digangana) are required to bid for their bags, starting at Rs 3 Lacs. The sum of all the bids will get deducted from the total prize money.
Suyyash, Prince and Digangana are a bit confused. They think that the highest bidder would get their bags back. So they go ahead and bid for their bags, putting a heavy price against them. On the other hand, Keith opts out of the opportunity by writing a big fat zero on the board, understanding that the prize money is important for all contestants. While Suyyash, Prince and Digangana get their bags, Keith’s intelligence wins him some praise, but not his bags.
But all hell breaks loose when the housemates realise that the prize money now stands at Rs 39,66,667! Kishwer starts hyperventilating about this and just then Roopal bluntly tells her to stop khaaoing footage. But Kishwer isn’t one to sit quiet. She asks Roopal if she’s finally opening her mouth because Salman thought she’s too silent? Ouch! And guess who decides to calm the situation? Mandana of all people! Did Prince and Suyyash pretend to be dumb during the Nilami Task?
