Known in India for making budget smartphones, LAVA is finally going premium with the launch of its new smartphone, the LAVA Iris ICON.
Priced at Rs 11,990 the smartphone will be sold on Snapdeal and other retail partners. It throws in a sweet deal for people ordering on the online portal as they will get a free selfie stick along with the smartphone.
LAVA says that the smartphone, which has been entirely developed by the LAVA mobiles China team, is aiming to target people looking for a good build quality and a fantastic camera.
It comes with a a metallic look, pushing in sleek at a cool 7.7 mm. The newbie also offers a 13 megapixel camera with Sony EXMOR sensor.
Also, good news for selfie lovers! The smartphone has a 5 megapixel camera with an omni vision sensor. The two major USPs of the smartphone are its rear camera and its OS.
The rear camera features a F2.0 aperture and a 5P lens for low light photography. The Iris ICON has LAVA’s own Star OS built on Android platform for users which enables a customised user experience.
